Each of these are the different stages I went through to make my map, from the initial layout, to the sketch to the hard blocking and finally to adding icons and the legend to the map. I really like coastal towns and their relationship to the sea and the transient nature of these towns, I was also watching a lot of Game of Thrones adjacent media at the time and I took heavy inspiration on how much of the major towns and cities were based on a coast or near the sea.
